Veritas Evangelical Seminary Names Calvary Chapel Old Bridge in NJ As Extension Teaching Site

Biblical illiteracy abounds all throughout the world today. In order to combat this illiteracy, people must be educated and firmly rooted in their faith in Jesus and in the inerrancy and infallibility of Scriptures.

OLD BRIDGE, NJ, March 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Biblical illiteracy abounds all throughout the world today. In order to combat this illiteracy, people must be educated and firmly rooted in their faith in Jesus and in the inerrancy and infallibility of Scriptures. Veritas Evangelical Seminary places a high priority on the Bible and on having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Calvary Chapel Old Bridge is joining forces with Veritas to educate Christians in the New Jersey area. CCOB will now be an extension-teaching site for Veritas! The Seminary and the Church welcome any Christians who desire a graduate school education, to apply to Veritas and register for the courses that will be hosted at CCOB in Old Bridge, NJ.

Several times out of the year, Veritas Evangelical Seminary teachers will fly out their teachers to instruct a weeklong seminary class in NJ. The list of teachers that are going to travel to teach are quite impressive: Dr. Norman Geisler, Dr. Thomas Ice, Dr. Steven Collins, Dr. Gary Habermas, and Dr. Ergun Caner, to name a few.

Prospective students hoping to gain credits for these classes are encouraged to register for ether the graduate degree program or the certificate program. For those who have no desire to obtain credits and would like to take the class for their own personal enrichment, they can decide to audit the class for a discounted rate.

Textbook: Norman Geisler. Baker's Encyclopedia of Christian Apologetics.

Class Description: This course will consist of an examination and evaluation of the overall argument for the truthfulness of Christianity by offering a systematic and rational defense of the basic elements of the Christian Faith, including the nature of truth, existence of God, miracles, the deity of Christ, the reliability of the Bible, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
