ABERDEEN, MD, March 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Lint Center, a non-profit charity, focused on supporting the educational pursuits of the next generation of America's Counterintelligence and National Security Workers, today formally announced that Devin Hernandez was awarded the Richard Eaton Jr. Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is dedicated in honor of Richard Eaton, a United States Army Counterintelligence Special Agent and Bronze Star with Oak Leaf recipient who died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, in, 2003.
"I am deeply moved to be the 2011 recipient of the Richard Eaton Memorial Scholarship from the Lint Center for National Security Studies," said Devin Hernandez, an undergraduate at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and member of the William and Mary Detachment of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. "Being awarded a scholarship named after a great American such as Mr. Eaton is a tremendous honor and I look forward to being part of the Lint Center's mentoring program to supplement my academic studies with real world context."

It is my hope that Mr. Hernandez will properly leverage the resources afforded to him through the Center and that he continues to live up to legacy my son demonstrated of duty faithfully performed on behalf of our great nation."
