TUCSON, AZ, March 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Where would you go if you had a question about how to run the social media arm of your business? Thousands of articles have been written about how small businesses can use social media, but there is still high demand for a simple, specialized resource. Postling, the social media management site has partnered with ArtFire.com, a leading artisan marketplace, to give small business owners access to such a resource. In less than one week over 2,500 people signed up for the six-week social media boot camp set to start on April 4th.
The free six-week boot camp will offer six lessons on how to use social media to its fullest for small businesses. No membership is needed on either ArtFire or Postling to enroll in the boot camp, which has generated high levels of interest within the ArtFire community and beyond. The social media boot camp will not only provide useful information, but also allow those that sign up to ask individualized questions and interact with Postling and ArtFire staff.
ArtFire members have been actively discussing the need for social media help, saying "I have been using social media for marketing for several years, but would love to be able to maximize the marketing possibilities of these tools" and "This is good; so many of us have questions on just how to really work social media. It seems simple, but it is much more complex than we realize, and this will help us make it more comfortable."
