SAN FRANCISCO, CA, March 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Dibbs, the unique entertainment and events app, has a new San Francisco Bay Area ally in its push to reach new users: five of the local radio stations owned and operated by CBS Radio.

Beginning the week of March 25, five CBS owned radio stations will be airing the Dibbs Download every Friday afternoon - KCBS All News 106.9 FM and 740 AM, KLLC Alice 97.3 FM, KITS Live 105.3 FM and KFRC Oldies 1550 AM. The feature highlights the weekend 's best events and tickets for premium events will be given out on a random basis to those who download the Dibbs app including 3-day tickets to San Francisco's largest music and arts presentation: the San Francisco Outside Lands Festival, August 12, 13, and 14 produced by Another Planet Entertainment.

With a simple slide or tap of a finger, the Dibbs app is delivering the most complete listing of sports, entertainment, theater and other events that can be searched by time and date, location, artist or team, and event type to a San Francisco Bay Area and Reno/Tahoe user base rapidly approaching 20,000. The free Dibbs app can be downloaded from the Apple App store for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touchdevices and from the Android Market for all Android phones. It also is available for any other device with access to the web at http://www.dibbs.me.

"We 're very excited to be working with CBS to promote Dibbs listings and the app on all five of their Bay Area radio stations," said Dibbs CEO Scott Armstrong. "Over the next few weeks, we plan to distribute handbills and coasters at major venues and clubs around the Bay Area, as well as schedule the famous Dibbs girls for personal appearances at major events."
