WAYNESBORO, PA, August 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) What better way is there to speak to aspiring writers, than through the voices of established, best selling, mainstream authors? After nearly8 years in existence, Limocracy, an Independent Publisher, has determined to broaden its horizons. Not only will the company still pay both published and unpublished writers for the best work that they can find, they are providing a free series of interviews with noted authors, to help writers to learn and refine their craft, starting with Christopher Moore and Andrew Vachss.
"We felt it was time to broaden our horizons, to refine our website, to make it more of an author's resource. We have over 8,000 members, but we want over 100,000 members. We felt that it was important to expand and improve the site, and to grow our publishing wing." Litmocracy founder Dave Scotese has announced. "We'll still pay authors for the best work we can find, as voted upon by the readers. We'll still pay $1000 for the best unpublished book we can find and we'll still run contests that pay cash to the winners, but we'll also offer insight from experts, insight on the craft of writing, and we'll publish more material as well. Part of freeing the mind, and of building an informed Voluntaryist community, one that can make a difference, is having the reach to do so, and having material that can help and make a difference.
Along with the first 2 interviews with Vachss and Moore, Litmocracy is releasing its newest book, Down For The Count, a non-fiction coming of age tale about growing up in the pro wrestling industry, by author Don Eminizer. The project is seeking funding from Kickstarter.com, a website noted for funding creative projects of all kinds. Litmocracy is already offering a number of eBooks, with more to be released soon. In the mean time the company will seek new members, expand its publishing house and continue to post interviews and other resources on and from established, main stream authors.
