DENVER, CO, August 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) In 1986 a small pizzeria quietly opened on South Broadway in Denver. More than 26 years later, the Original Pasquini's on Broadway is stronger than ever and celebrating its historic accomplishment as the original Pasquini's restaurant. With a new image and logo, the Original Pasquini's is honoring its Lanciano, Italy, roots and keeping traditions that customers know and love alive.
"We feel like it's time to refresh our brand's image but know it's imperative that we don't lose the authenticity and charm," said Melinda Pasquini, owner of the Original Pasquini's on Broadway. "I have watched generations of people grow up with our restaurant. People come here as children with their family, return with friends and first dates, grow up and bring their own families back and finally come in long after their children are grown. This restaurant is very much a part of them."
Since opening its doors, the Original Pasquini's on Broadway has featured fresh, authentic Italian cuisine from old-world family recipes passed down from generation to generation. From pizza dough and pasta noodles to pesto and marinara sauces, the chefs prepare all dishes from scratch and have become famous for their hand-crafted desserts.
"Pasquini's takes great pride in selecting the freshest ingredients and how we prepare our meal," said Pasquini. "Over the years we've watched too many chefs and restaurants transition from made-from-scratch to frozen and pre-made. We made a conscious decision not to let this happen to our restaurant. This is what sets us apart from other Pasquini's and restaurants in Denver."
Pasquini's has had a strong presence in Denver, but the South Broadway restaurant is the original and the only Pasquini's restaurant to have been continuously owned and operated by the Pasquini family.
