BOSTON, MA, August 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE), a nationally-known nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in business, today announced that Alyssa Dver, CEO of Mint Green Marketing, will deliver a hands-on, two-part marketing and sales workshop on September 21stat the CWE Women Business Leaders Conference 2012, taking place at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Hundreds of business professionals will converge at this event devoted to women in business. This year's conference theme is "Managing from the Inside Out," featuring workshops and presentations which will bridge internal leadership and external business development challenges. In addition, there will be a special panel discussion exclusively for Supplier Diversity professionals. Business leaders and community leaders will be recognized at the CWE Awards Luncheon for their achievements in promoting and furthering the success of women's business enterprises in New England. The generosity of the following sponsors to-date is making this event possible: Care.com, Stop&Shop, Comcast, RBSCitizens, and John Hancock.
"The challenges that plague women business leaders and entrepreneurs can sometimes force them to focus more on the tactical running of their businesses than on marketing and business development strategy. We're thrilled to have Alyssa Dver as a session leader for our event - she has the strategic knowledge and insight needed to coach women on how to effectively market their businesses and close deals," said Susan Rittcher, President and CEO of The Center for Women & Enterprise.
Mint Green is a virtually-operated, woman-owned company based in the Boston area, offering various marketing services such as: social media, PR, design, copywriting, email marketing, video production, and more. With a track record of success in product management, marketing, and sales, Dver is a thought leader and hands-on practitioner that brings practical, efficient marketing counsel to her clients. Dver keynotes multiple times each month and is also frequent guest lecturer at business schools and via corporate Webinars. She has conducted marketing trainings for SOWMBA, spoken at the UN World Diversity Summit, and written several supplier diversity articles for Forbes and BusinessWeek. Dver's book, "No Time Marketing: Small Business-Sized Steps in 30 Minutes or Less" is endorsed by major entrepreneurial and small business authorities. Dver also authored the best-selling product management book, "Software Product Management Essentials." Her latest book is "Ms. Informed: Wake Up Wisdom for Women."
