Healthcare Solutions Team's Education: An Answer to the National Healthcare Crisis

Record number of Americans are struggling to find healthcare insurance. However, there are options for the uninsured. Healthcare Solutions Team is leading an initiative to educate uninsured Americans on the various options that are available to them.

2013-01-26
LOMBARD, IL, January 26, 2013 (Press-News.org) A record number of uninsured Americans are struggling to find healthcare insurance now that the Cobra Subsidy expired and, according to Kaiser, 8-9% of medium-sized businesses are dropping their healthcare coverage. An innovative company, Healthcare Solutions Team, is trying to fill this gap by educating uninsured Americans so that they can understand their options and obtain affordable coverage.

According to Gallup, nearly 27% of 27- to 35-year-olds are uninsured. This alarming number is attributed to the decreasing affordability of health insurance.

There are a few factors that make healthcare less accessible. The Cobra Subsidy ended August 31st. This termination leaves millions of Americans unable to afford their Cobra coverage and unsure where to turn for advice.

It's not only the unemployed who are experiencing this healthcare crunch. Everyday more businesses are reducing or removing their employee healthcare coverage. Most of these employees have always relied on group healthcare coverage. This transition leaves them unsure how to navigate the individual health insurance market.

However, there are options for the uninsured. Healthcare Solutions Team is leading an initiative to educate uninsured Americans on the various options that are available to them. Many of these options will make healthcare more affordable to the average American.

Grant Born, Co-Founder of Healthcare Solutions Team, explains, "There truly is an affordable healthcare plan out there for everyone. Our goal is to educate consumers on their options so that they can make the best decisions to match their specific lifestyles. We don't ever want someone to feel like they have to navigate through this alone. Medical bills are still the number one reason for bankruptcy. With a properly structured plan, you won't ever go bankrupt."

Healthcare Solutions Team provides free one-on-one counsel to explain the options available to each unique situation. These options include both private and public plans. In the private sector, individual health insurance market can be more affordable than Cobra or even group coverage in some cases. This is the simplest place to look first.

If private health insurance companies are rejecting an individual due to pre-existing conditions, guaranteed acceptance health plans can be a good option. These plans provide specified benefits without any medical history required.

The public sector offers assistance for those who qualify. Each state has a different set of requirements and plans, so it's important to look on your state's website to see what's available.

Individuals can sign up for their free one-on-one sessions at http://www.healthcaresolutionsteam.com.
