ASHEBORO, NC, April 26, 2013 (Press-News.org) Author C. A. Thurston is releasing the first in a planned series of books, which demonstrate how anyone can determine when another person is lying, or hiding the truth. The book is entitled "I Can Tell You Are Lying" and places the signs and signals of dishonest body language into an easy to memorize ABC style list. Available today for eReader, Smartphone, or computer download at http://www.catstuffpublishing.com. Price is $9.99.
This book explains in detail the subconscious body language and idiosyncrasies that liars share. "If you have walked outside your house today, someone has probably lied to you," the author said. "Seek the truth, by all means, but be aware enough to know when it is absent."
Thurston researched the subject for 30 years before writing this book and urges all readers to be slow to accuse. "I wouldn't want to get punched in the nose by some aggressive liar, just because I didn't want to buy what he or she was selling."
The series of books will progress from the signs and signals of dishonest behavior to conversational lying and finally to the self-image of the liar. The second book in the series is scheduled for release later in 2013.
A native of Myrtle Beach, S. C., C. A. Thurston, now of Asheboro, N.C., holds a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design, as well as certifications in SEO and Web Presence. Thurston enjoys painting murals and was a member of the design team that created the Snot Otter mascot character for the N. C. Zoological Society's public awareness project in 2010.
