Breast Augmentation Most Popular Procedure for Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon

Breast augmentation is the number one cosmetic procedure at the practice of Dr. David Sayah, a board-certified plastic surgeon serving the Los Angeles area.

2013-04-27
BEVERLY HILLS, CA, April 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) Breast augmentation was the most popular procedure performed in 2012 at Dr. David Sayah's Beverly Hills cosmetic surgery practice (http://www.davidsayah.com/). This breast enhancement procedure was also the most popular nationwide, according to recent year-end statistics released by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

"The popularity of breast augmentation year after year comes down to women wanting to look their best," says Dr. Sayah, a board-certified plastic surgeon and breast augmentation specialist in the greater Los Angeles area. "Thanks in part to modern breast implant options, results look more natural than ever before. I use several advanced techniques that promote faster healing and contribute to achieving very satisfying outcomes. The result is that more women are realizing the value of investing in their most important asset: themselves."

The ASAPS reports that there were 330,631 breast augmentations performed in 2012 alone, representing a 4.4 percent increase from the previous year, and a 226.8 percent increase from 1997. Most breast augmentations were performed for women between the ages of 19-34 (52.2 percent), followed by the 35-50 age group (37.8 percent).

The ASPS adds that breast augmentation has been the top cosmetic surgical procedure in the United States since 2006, and the number of breast augmentations has increased 35 percent since 2000.

"Here in the center of the entertainment industry, women see firsthand how vital it is to maintain an attractive and healthy appearance," explains Dr. Sayah, who offers a full range of cosmetic surgery procedures and medical spa treatments at his practice. "Feeling great about yourself can improve your self confidence levels, your personal relationships, and even boost your career."

Breast augmentations, while certainly the most popular breast enhancement choice, are not the only option available to women seeking to surgically enhance their breasts. For many women, combining breast lifts along with breast augmentation can be an alternative that delivers more comprehensive results.

"Breast implants add volume, while a breast lift repositions and reshapes the breast," says Dr. Sayah. "Combining these two procedures gives women fuller, higher breasts that have that a more prominent, youthful placement. They can be very complementary procedures. I'm honored to have helped so many women who want to enhance the look of their breasts and I expect that breast enlargement will continue to be a top choice at my practice in 2013."

Understanding Implant Dentistry

2013-04-27
Implant dentistry is the most effective and structurally sound way to replace one or more missing teeth. With dental implants, your implant dentist can not only restore strength and beauty to your smile, but help prevent jaw shrinkage and collapse as well. When you lose a tooth, you also lose its root. Unfortunately, it is the root of your tooth that signals to your body that bone is necessary in that area of your jaw. Without these signals, your body will reabsorb the minerals around a missing tooth, untimely resulting in jaw shrinkage and a change to the structure ...
