Phoenix Dentist Awarded Preferred Provider Status For Invisalign

Dr. Stephen Conrad, dentist in Phoenix, is honored to be a Preferred Provider for Invisalign

2013-05-05
PHOENIX, AZ, May 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) Dr. Stephen Conrad, dentist in Phoenix, is happy to have been a provider of Invisalign for over 10 years. Recently, Dr. Conrad has received the coveted "Preferred Provider" status given to dentists who treat at least 10 cases per year. This status is officially awarded to dentists by the makers of Invisalign, Align.

"I am very glad that I have achieved this status to treat patients with Invisalign. Now current and future patients of mine can have peace-of-mind knowing that they are choosing a reliable Invisalign provider for healthier smiles for a lifetime," said Dr. Conrad, cosmetic dentist in Phoenix.

Invisalign in Phoenix has become more popular over the years with teens and adults who want to be discreet about straightening their teeth. Because Invisalign is virtually invisible, others are not able to see when a patient is in treatment. Invisalign is removable so patients are able to eat any type of food they want, unlike conventional braces. Invisalign consists of smooth, comfortable plastic as opposed to sharp metal that can irritate cheeks and gums. Invisalign also allows patients to more easily brush and floss their teeth for better oral health.

The patient wears each aligner for about two weeks, removing them to eat, drink, brush and floss. Each aligner puts pressure on certain teeth to gently move them to the desired position. Patients will visit Dr. Conrad, Phoenix dentist every six weeks for about 9-15 months until treatment is complete. The average number of aligners used is anywhere from 18-30, but will vary from case to case.

Long-term disability provides benefits equal to a certain percentage of the person's salary, and continue for a fixed number of years or until ...

Trend toward "gender reversal" in marriage affects divorce Traditional gender roles are changing in marriage and divorce. More women than ever are attending college and obtaining advanced degrees. In recent decades, women have outpaced men in earnings growth as well. This has resulted in "gender reversal" where the wife often earns more than the husband. A Pew Research Center study that analyzed demographic and economic trends in marriage between 1970 with 2007 found that the share of households where the wife earned more increased from four percent ...

Hubble sees the remains of a star gone supernova

2013-05-04
These delicate wisps of gas make up an object known as SNR B0519-69.0, or SNR 0519 for short. The thin, blood-red shells are actually the remnants from when an unstable progenitor star exploded violently as a supernova around 600 years ago. There are several types of supernovae, but for SNR 0519 the star that exploded is known to have been a white dwarf star — a Sun-like star in the final stages of its life. SNR 0519 is located over 150 000 light-years from Earth in the southern constellation of Dorado (The Dolphinfish), a constellation that also contains most of our ...
