SearStone Hosting Starting the Conversation Roundtable Discussion

May 14 Event will Address How to Talk to Parents about Choosing a Retirement Community

CARY, NC, May 10, 2013

SearStone, a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community being developed in Cary, will be hosting a roundtable discussion on May 14 at from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. entitled "Starting the Discussion." Adult children of SearStone's future residents will address how to start a conversation with parents about choosing a retirement community.

The event will be held at SearStone's model home, located at 106 Walker Stone Drive in Cary. Light refreshments will be served, and attendees are asked to RSVP for this free discussion by calling (919) 466-9366 or by visiting http://www.searstone.com/events. Seating will be limited for this event.

"Many of our future residents have told us that moving to the right retirement community means they won't be a burden to their children, who will have peace of mind knowing their parents are being well taken care of," says Morgan Lamphere, SearStone's director of sales and marketing. "The children might not want to bring up the topic, but often the parents have already been thinking about their retirement."

Staff will also provide an update on SearStone construction (more than 75 percent of sitework has been completed) and the Moving Made Easy program it offers.
