"I am happy that we have been able to use social media to communicate with our patients online. I know that many of our patients use Facebook and Twitter on a daily basis and I'm glad that we have been able to become a part of that conversation. I hope that all of our patients will take a few minutes to 'like' our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter," said Dr. Corley, cosmetic dentist in Destin.
Dr. Corley has been using the Facebook page to post updates on the practice and information on any specials that the practice is currently offering. Patients that like the practice's page will be able to post questions and comments on the page's wall. Shortly after this, a member of the staff will respond to the comment.
The Destin cosmetic dentist at Emerald Coast Dental is also maintaining a Twitter account. The Twitter account is used for short, informational posts about the practice and to post interesting dental facts. Links to their practice blog are also posted, which features informative posts about various dental topics.

To use this, patients simply have to enter in a date and time that they would like to come in to the online form. Shortly after this, the practice's scheduling coordinator will respond in an email with available appointment times.
