MILTON, MA, June 19, 2013 (Press-News.org) Tens of thousands of people visit the Blue Hills Reservation which lies twenty minutes south of Boston. As a tribute to the value of this recreational haven, the Friends of the Blue Hills announced the "Beauty and the Blue Hills" Photo Contest. Participants are encouraged to enter up to five photos that best depict why they enjoy the Blue Hills. Photos can include the animals, insects, plants and views - as well as the people and families that enjoy the Blue Hills. Participants may submit photos until September 1, 2013. Judges will chose the top 25 finalists and the public will 'vote' electronically for the winning photos. Prizes include REI sports gear plus publication on the organizations website and newsletter.
