Going 'Green' Named Top Priority by Wallace Morgan Inc. in Q1 of 2014

As the consequences of environmental damage caused by Industry becomes more prevalent, Wallace Morgan Inc announced how they plan to help reduce environmental costs through their going 'green' policy

2014-02-20
NEW YORK, NY, February 20, 2014 (Press-News.org) As the consequences of environmental damage caused by Industry becomes more prevalent, Wallace Morgan Inc announced how they plan to help reduce environmental costs through their going 'green' policy.

As reports estimate world's top firms cause $2.2tn of environmental damage, Wallace Morgan has announced their commitment to being a 'green' company by rolling out a new energy efficiency policy. Government agencies are offering a variety of tax credits, rebates and other incentives to support energy efficiency, encourage the use of renewable energy sources, and support efforts to conserve energy and lessen pollution.

About Wallace Morgan Inc

In 2013, commercial and industrial buildings used roughly 50% of the energy in the U.S. economy at a cost of over $400 billion. These buildings and operations can be made much for efficient using a variety of cost effective efficiency improvements while creating jobs and building a stronger economy. In February 2011, President Obama, building upon the investments of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, announced the Better Buildings Initiative to make commercial and industrial buildings 20% more energy efficient over the next 10 years and accelerate private sector investment in energy efficiency.

According to the United Nations, the cost of pollution and other damage to the natural environment caused by the world's biggest companies would wipe out more than one-third of their profits if they were held financially accountable. The biggest single impact is the emissions of greenhouse gases blamed for climate change with another major cost being local air pollution such as particulates and the damage caused by the over-use and pollution of freshwater.

While companies' impact on the environment remains ignored the question of how society deals with the consequence of this damage will remain unanswered. Industry cannot absorb externalized costs overnight but it is clear that continuing to ignore the consequences is no longer acceptable. Some of the small commitments made by Wallace Morgan include; choosing suppliers that collect packaging for reuse, recycling paper daily, using electronic communication rather than paper, purchasing recycled office furniture, ensuring all electronic equipment is switched off when out of use, and instigating an ongoing search for "greener" products and services in the local community.

Wallace Morgan, has been established in New York for over a year, and was formed in response to the lack of outsourcing solutions currently on the market. As well as the foundations of over 10 years working in marketing and sales, the firm's core is a solid management group with experience and education in law, accountancy and banking. Wallace Morgan guarantees results, client confidence and an influx of business for their clients.

Wallage Morgan are a full service events and promotions firm located in Manhattan, New York. They give companies the chance to streamline their business, cut cost, whilst increasing results and turnover.
