Florida Vein Care Specialists Medicus Veincare Announces New Treatment ClariVein

Medicus Veincare is pleased to offer its patients ClariVein, a new varicose vein therapy that reduces many of the unpleasant side effects of other vein treatments.

2014-02-21
WEST PALM BEACH, FL, February 21, 2014 (Press-News.org) The future of varicose vein treatment has arrived at Medicus Veincare, a vein treatment center in Florida. ClariVein is an FDA-approved procedure that removes many of the risks traditionally associated with treating varicose veins.

What Is ClariVein?

ClariVein is an endovenous ablation therapy that helps to reduce the appearance of varicose veins. The doctors at Medicus Veincare have found that it offers significant advantages over more traditional treatment methods.

Patients have found the ClariVein treatment to be a very effective and safe technique. They like it because it offers minimal discomfort and bruising, no risk of nerve or skin damage and no risk of thermal damage. ClariVein also allows Medicus Veincare's patients to get back to their normal activities more quickly than other varicose vein treatments.

ClariVein works by disrupting the lining of the vein and then using a drug to close the vein. Patients typically will feel a "buzzing" in their leg during the procedure, but this sensation is not painful. The procedure takes only a short period of time and patients are able to resume their normal activity the same day.

Patients will be excited to learn that the ClariVein procedure does not require a tumescent anesthetic. Medicus Veincare finds this is a welcome change, as procedures which do require a tumescent anesthetic involve multiple needle sticks and some mild discomfort for the patient.

"We believe that ClariVein offers a safe and effective new treatment option for our patients," says Dr. Steven Tidwell, M.D of Medicus Veincare. "Our patients have been very pleased that ClariVein is able to minimize the discomfort previously associated with treating varicose veins while providing amazing results."
