WASHINGTON, DC, March 22, 2014 (Press-News.org) The Specialty Hospital of Washington - will host its 5th Annual Symposium and Exhibition Venue "Managing Pulmonary Patients in the 21st Century on April 24, 2014 at the Kellogg Center Hotel on the grounds of Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. The Keynote speaker is Dr. Robert M Kacmarek, PHD, RRT, FCCP, FARC. Dr. Kacmarek has lectured over 600 seminars within the United States and the International healthcare community on various topics relating to Respiratory Critical Care Medicine.

Publications included 140 original research articles, 185 chapter reviews and editorials, 17 books including participation on numerous boards and recognition of honors and awards. Dr. Kacmarek is a Professor of Anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School and Director of Respiratory Care at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

The symposium and exhibition will consist of a full day event from 7:00am to 5:00pm with break- out sessions and lectures from prominent physician leaders within the Nation's Capital Respiratory Community; Dr. Leslie Kingslow, Dr. Francisco Hoyos and Dr. Carl Voss.
