Canna Products USA Will Work With Colorado Hemp Farmers To Promote Domestic Hemp Crops

Canna Products USA's actions will create jobs for America's small farmers.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, March 25, 2014 (Press-News.org) Canna Products USA (CP USA), global manufacturers and distributors of industrial hemp, will work with America's industrial hemp farmers to legally grow and manufacture domestic hemp crops for its Tommy Chong, Yellow Emperor and Bluegrass Natural food, cosmetic and herbal hemp-product lines.

"We currently import 100% of our oil because federal laws have previously prohibited domestic hemp farming," says Bluegrass Natural Remedies CEO Adam Benge. "Since industrial hemp can now be legally grown in the U.S., we have an industry that will create well-paid employment together with a quality product. Federal officials have stated publicly that they will not pursue criminal charges for industrial hemp production and conservative lawmakers have approved research and development for universities in hemp-approved states such as Kentucky. We plan to create no fewer than 50 American jobs over the next 24 months as a result."

CP USA, a division of industrial hemp leader Bluegrass Natural Remedies, is now working with cannabis advocate Tommy Chong to produce his hemp cannabidiol (CBD) health and wellness line. Half of the CP USA product line is packaged and labeled with hemp materials. With a corporate mission to utilize hemp for all its business needs, Tommy Chong will also endorse CP USA's own product lines: Yellow Emperor supplements and Bluegrass Natural CBD-infused products.

CP USA plans to launch its all-natural one-ounce Tommy Chong hemp balm in the U.S. market in the second quarter of 2014, with additional products being introduced later. CP USA has also partnered with Canna-Saver, who will be its main wholesale distributor in Colorado.

"Company founder Joe Brown will tour with ComfyTree's Cannabis Academy, a traveling cannabis entrepreneurship conference hosted by ComfyTree Consulting," says Benge. "As a lecturer-partner in the academy, Joe will educate people on the medical uses of cannabidiol, a derivative of industrial hemp, and on starting a legal hemp business."

Cannabidiol is a non-addictive, non-psychoactive, medicinal component of industrial hemp with a wide range of therapeutic benefits. CP USA prides itself on being the first company in Michigan to legally manufacture industrial hemp products since 1937.
