Houston LASIK Surgeons Seek Improved Patient Satisfaction with Zeiss VisuMax Laser
2014-04-02
HOUSTON, TX, April 02, 2014 (Press-News.org) "Beginning in 1991, we started working with eye laser researchers and manufacturers to continually find ways to make laser vision correction safe, effective and predictable. We are always trying to use laser technology to further improve patient satisfaction, through optical and outcome precision, but more importantly, by making LASIK more comfortable with even quicker visual recovery as this is what really makes patients happiest," explained Bernard Milstein, M.D.

"Our results and patient satisfaction with All Laser LASIK over the past 5 years have actually been outstanding," noted Dr. Da-Thuy Van. "But at The Eye Clinic of Texas we are always questioning how we can do even better for our patients. To that end, after careful evaluation of the Zeiss VisuMax Laser, we are convinced that the goals of a quick, precise but gentle LASIK procedure are achievable with this femtosecond laser."

The Zeiss VisuMax is an ultra fast femtosecond laser designed for patient comfort and surgical outcome through ergonomic design, precision optics and control in performing corneal and laser eye surgery. "The Zeiss reputation for precision optics and technology really seems to deliver. We are thrilled to be able to incorporate this into our LASIK practice for All Laser LASIK," shared Dr. Van.
