PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA, April 03, 2014 (Press-News.org) Cambodian Children's Fund (http://www.cambodianchildrensfund.org) announced that Bob Alexander has been engaged as chief operating officer to guide the organization as it repositions for its next stage of growth.
In the newly created role, Bob will lead global operations and implement systems to enable an integrated and coordinated approach to engaging all CCF offices in achieving strategic financial objectives. With this position, greater communication and collaboration between the international and local offices will ensure fluid communications across all CCF entities and greater transparency without the need for additional headcount. He'll be spending time working at each of CCF's offices.
"With his oversight of our international entities, Bob's appointment will allow CCF to adopt optimal practices in terms of controls, systems and operating efficiencies," said Scott Neeson, founder and executive director. "Bob's experience will ensure our donors receive a high degree of transparency and accountability, with an assurance of good governance and sustainability."
Bob comes to CCF with two decades of international corporate experience. Prior to joining, he previously held the position of European finance director for Universal Music Publishing based in the UK and spent a decade as the global chief financial officer for EYE Corp in Australia. He is leaving his position as chief financial officer of the OPUS Group. In 2009, he joined CCF Australia as a board member and has been involved with CCF since 2006.
Bob said, "Having been involved with CCF for some time and seeing firsthand the positive impact of CCF I am genuinely excited about joining full time and helping the organization to grow for the future."
