The Samsung Galaxy S5 is Here and TheSnugg is Ready!

The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 is now here and case makers The Snugg are on the case, literally.

2014-04-12
NEW YORK, NY, April 12, 2014 (Press-News.org) It seems like so long since we saw it showcased, but the day is finally here: the Samsung Galaxy S5 is on sale now! One of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, the S5 is set to take the tech world by storm.

If the S4 was all about adding as many features as possible, the S5 is the opposite of that. Trimming back the fat and cutting out unnecessary functions, the keyword for the S5 is 'simplicity' but at the same time, everything has been improved. Samsung's stripped back all the bulk to provide a truly exciting user experience, with more streamlined power than any Galaxy smartphone before.

The S5 boasts a 5.1" Full HD Super AMOLED Display, a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, and 2GB of RAM, and it runs Android KitKat 4.4.2. It has a 16MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera, with an extraordinary array of features - fast auto focus, selective focus for blurring background, and shooting 4K video at 30fps to name a few.

If the battery runs down on the S5, don't worry: it has an Ultra Power Saving Mode for eliminating any unnecessary features and switching the screen to black and white, so it will keep running for longer. There's also a fingerprint scanner, a heart-rate sensor and fitness tracker for working alongside the Galaxy Gear.

The Galaxy S5 sports an attractive redesigned back, made from perforated plastic. It makes it easier to hold and look great, but the rubberized plastic could be prone to scuffs or scratches. The Snugg, tablet and smartphone cases makers, have designed a range of S5 cases to ensure that the Galaxy phone stays looking as good as new.

Les Yates, marketing manager at The Snugg, said: "Customers are excited for the Galaxy S5's release, and rightly so, as it's such an impressive device. The powerful rear camera, Full HD display and the water and dust-resistant protection all add up to make a really desirable phone.

"However, just because the S5 is resistant to rain, sweat and dust doesn't mean that it's protected against drops, knocks, or wear and tear damage. The Snugg's S5 cases offer the maximum protection for the Samsung smartphone and will keep it free of scratches and scuffs. We have a wide variety of cases for the S5 available and for any users who want to show off the dimpled plastic back, our pouch style cases are ideal."

The Snugg manufacture and sell high-quality premium cases for the top devices on the market such as the iPad, iPhone and Nexus products. They are platinum sellers on the Amazon marketplace and they supply cases worldwide to over 200 countries. They also have a physical presence in 8 countries worldwide and to date sold over 1 million cases.
