All registered Venux users receive a UID (Universal ID) that protects the user's identity and location. In order to achieve maximum security, Venux does not store keys or passwords making it impossible to retrieve the user's credentials if they are ever forgotten. Venux will release Multimedia Engine, Files, and Connect. These programs are aimed to simplify the experience of computer users by helping them manage and secure their personal data that is stored locally and on remote services.

All Venux programs can connect to the most popular remote services including Google Drive, iCloud, and Dropbox to access, store, encrypt, decrypt, and share data. Venux users can share encrypted data with their contacts. Unencrypted data can be shared on social networks and email.

Venux Multimedia Engine reads and plays the most popular image, audio, video, 3D, vector, and medical imaging formats. Multimedia can be converted to other formats and edited with the built-in plug-ins and effects.

2014-04-28
A new study has found that loss of paid employment after a diagnosis of early-stage breast cancer may be common and potentially related to the type of treatment patients received. Sexual conflict affects females more than males, says new research on beetles

Sexual conflict affects females more than males, says new research on beetles
2014-04-28
Researchers at the University of Exeter have found that sexual conflict over mating impacts the parental care behaviour and reproductive productivity of burying beetles. These beetles have surprisingly complex parental care, similar in form to that provided by birds such as robins or blackbirds, with offspring begging to be fed by touching parents, who respond by regurgitating partially digested food. Both males and females provide parental care, but females are the primary care givers, as in humans. So anything that affects the ability of females to provide parental ...
