The coalition emphasizes the following:

Cyclists Contribute to Crashes When They:

1. Ride against traffic on roadways
2. Turn left from the right side of the road
3. Fail to yield at stop or yield signs
4. Swerve in front of cars
5. Cycle at night without lights

Motorists Contribute to Crashes When They:

1. Turn left in front of bicyclists
2. Turn right in front of bicyclists
3. Fail to yield at stop or yield signs
4. Open car doors into oaths of bicyclists
5. Fail to yield when entering roadways from driveways
6. Fail to allow 3 feet of separation when passing bicyclists
