PARIS, FRANCE, December 26, 2010 (Press-News.org) Murderdolls are set to perform in Paris in the new year, which is sure to attract plenty of punk and metal fans to the French capital for the show.
The gig is part of a European tour kicking off in January that will see the group take in concerts in Germany, the Netherlands and a variety of other destinations.
Guests at hotels in Paris will be able to catch the act led by Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and singer Wednesday 13 on January 29th 2011 at Elysee Montmartre.
The pair are the driving force behind Murderdolls, with several other musicians having played in the band since its formation in 2002.
While long-term fans may be familiar with tracks from debut record Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls, many enthusiasts may decide to head to the show from nearby accommodation such as Hotel Antin Trinite Paris to hear songs from their latest album Women and Children Last.
The LP was released earlier this year and the group have said they believe the production standards are far higher than on their first record.
An indication of Jordison's skill is that the musician features on the front cover of Modern Drummer magazine this month.
Tickets for the Paris show cost EUR29 (GBP24.60), with the concert beginning at 19:00 local time.
For more information on this event, visit the Elysee Montmartre website or contact the venue on +33 01 4492 4547.
