SAN DIEGO, CA, January 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) Most of the public knows her as the suffering Mary Alice Young who speaks to the audience from the afterlife as the narrator of ABC's hit Desperate Housewives. But they may not know about Ms. Strong's many other important roles as an advocate for fertility awareness, as a pioneer in developing fertility yoga programs and as a wife and mother whose journey to conceive her second child transformed her life.
On the next episode of The Surrogacy Lawyer: Your Guide to IVF and Third Party Family Building, Theresa Erickson, Esq., interviews fellow American Fertility Association board member and yoga fertility specialist Brenda Strong. They will discuss how yoga can be instrumental in helping women cope with life's challenges, including infertility, her involvement in promoting fertility awareness and her take on how Hollywood portrays infertility. The show will air on Thursday, January 6 at 11AM PST/2PM EST on Voice America.
Strong YogaTM 4 Fertility is a program Ms. Strong developed from her own experiences with infertility and her research in working with other women. Brenda received an honorary doctorate of science from Yo San University, which specializes in traditional Chinese medicine, for her pioneering work in this field. In 2005, Brenda became the first national spokesperson of The American Fertility Association and serves on its board. She lives with her husband and son in Los Angeles.
"I am thrilled to have this opportunity to interview Brenda Strong, who is so passionate about using yoga and other techniques to help women feel better about their bodies and their outlook on life," says Attorney Erickson. "For many people, the start of the New Year also is the start of making New Year's resolutions. So don't miss this program if you aim to make any type of change in your life in 2011.
