2011-01-20
LOS ANGELES, CA, January 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) Pardee Homes (www.pardeehomes.com) has donated $2,500 to the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House after holding a charitable campaign on Facebook tied to their popular LivingSmart Homes in the Inland Empire. For every fan, new or old, who 'liked' LivingSmart Homes the company donated $2 to the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House, one of 11 Ronald McDonald House Charities in California.

"The Ronald McDonald House serves as a home away from home for families of seriously ill children who are undergoing treatment at nearby hospitals," said Dee Feldmeir, executive director of Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House. "We are so grateful for this gift from Pardee Homes as they support our mission and as we continue to provide a 'home away from home' to families during a very difficult period. Pardee Homes is helping us in our commitment to make a positive difference for children and families."

Since opening in 1996 the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House (www.llrmh.org)
has served more than 13,000 families whose children have received treatment at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital and other medical facilities in the Inland Empire.

"As a group that provides homes for families in a different way, we know how amazing it is to put a roof over some one's head and what that means to them," said Matt Sauls, regional marketing director for Pardee Homes. "Ronald McDonald House Charities does a great job helping those in need at a time of great stress."

LivingSmart Homes are located in Canyon Hills in Lake Elsinore and at Tournament Hills in Beaumont. Priced from the high $100,000s, the LivingSmart Homes are brimming with a wealth of energy-saving, water-conserving, health-promoting and earth-friendly features.

With more than 100 homes sold since the grand opening in February 2010, LivingSmart Homes has earned its reputation as the best selling new home community in the Inland Empire, and made dreams come true for many first-time home buyers. Not only was LivingSmart Homes at Tournament Hills named Community of the Year at the 2010 SoCal Awards, it was also the public's favorite, winning the 2010 Southern California Consumers Choice Award.
