CARY, NC, January 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) Cary Magazine's Elegant Weddings Gala is not only an event that can help with the wedding-planning process, but also a celebration of engagement. Western Wake's leading lifestyle publication invites brides- and grooms-to-be, as well as their mothers, friends and wedding planners to the fifth annual Elegant Weddings Gala at The Matthews House in Cary on March 10 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

After four years of overwhelming success and high marks from attendees and vendors, Cary Magazine is teaming up with The Matthews House and presenting sponsor Traditions by anna to stage an intimate gala that will connect brides with the best local professionals, venues and services in the wedding industry. The Matthews House setting will be the perfect backdrop for vendors to captivate brides with their impeccable style and professionalism.

Guests will enjoy cocktails and samplings of The Matthews House Catering creations along with a full assortment of wedding cake and pastry options. The entire Matthews House, ballroom and outdoor tent will be open and feature vendors - from bakeries and photographers to musicians and travel agencies - throughout the property. This will give brides the chance to meet with several vendors throughout the evening, all while getting a tour of the elegant Matthews House.

Traditions by anna, a local bridal boutique, will feature models wearing the latest in fashionable bridal wear.

"We will have informal modeling to show off the newest bridal trends in gowns, veils, bridesmaids and especially accessories," said Anna Josey Kemp, owner/manager of Traditions by anna. "The Gala will be a wonderful way to introduce brides to our boutique and the full-service experience that we provide."

This special evening is the ideal occasion for the soon-to-be-wed to get new ideas for their special day. The themed displays and the area's top wedding vendors will give brides the opportunity to do all their planning at one upscale event. Every consideration from stationery to flowers, from music to photography and beyond will be available, helping them to create the wedding of their dreams.
