Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. Sets Its Expectations High For 2011, After Review Of The Recent Migration Study From Atlas Van Lines

With the overall number of relocations up across the Nation, the 2010 study isolates each state and its moving trends

2011-01-28
SAN DIEGO, CA,January 28, 2011 (Press-News.org) Ace Relocation Systems, Inc., a comprehensive relocation company servicing cities nationwide, adjusted its 2011 business and marketing plans as they do every year due, in part, to the Atlas Van Lines Moving Migration Patterns of 2010 study, detailing which states saw the most inbound/outbound traffic throughout the course of a year.

According to the 2010 Atlas Van Lines Migration Patterns study, more Americans are on the move; a possible sign that the economy is improving.

Each year, Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. utilizes the study to determine the appropriate focus for marketing and for allocating resources throughout the U.S.

According to a press release put out by Atlas Van Lines, for the first time in two years, Kentucky joins its surrounding Mid-Atlantic states — North Carolina, Maryland, and Washington D.C. — as inbound states. For the fifth year in a row, Washington D.C. had the highest percentage of inbound moves, while Ohio came out the clear leader in the highest percentage of outbound moves.

The study also shows that regardless of economic highs and lows, several states have remained constant in status for ten or more years. California, Kansas and South Carolina have been balanced, Indiana has been outbound, and Alaska and North Carolina have remained inbound.

As the year progressed, Atlas saw increases in the monthly totals of household moves and the overall total for 2010 was 74,541.

Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. is the fifth largest agency for Atlas Van Lines, the largest subsidiary of Atlas World Group, an Evansville, Ind.-based company. More than 500 Atlas interstate agents in the United States and Canada specialize in corporate relocation, household moving services and in the transportation of high-value items such as electronics, fine art, new fixtures and furniture.
