Air pollution and cardiac remodeling and function in patients with breast cancer

(Press-News.org) About The Study: In this cohort study, fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and ozone exposure was independently associated with worse cardiac remodeling and function in patients with breast cancer treated with cardiotoxic therapy. These findings highlight the importance of modifying environmental exposures to mitigate cardiovascular disease risk.
