Wherever you are, as long as you have an internet connection, you can avail of the newly released version of medical coding certification material - Coding Certification Review Blitz - starting today, online. Coding Certification Review Blitz is the latest, updated resource material to help you prepare for the CPC exam by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and the CCS-P exam by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Those who are aspiring to start their careers as certified coders will find that this review material is highly beneficial to them. Not only does it prepare you with the items you'll be facing during the exam, but it also gives you helpful tips, as well as advice, regarding the exams and how to do well in your chosen career path. Feedback from Registered Nurses (CPC's) who have tried the course describe it as intense, worthwhile, and providing you with everything you need to learn in order to pass the test. The Coding Certification Review Blitz guides you on what to do to pass the test.
The Coding Certification Review Blitz is developed by Senior Instructor Laureen Jandroep, OTR, CPC. This course is a 12-hour video series, each segment lasting about half an hour to an hour, and consists of topics or subject matter that you need to be reviewing before taking the exam, as well as a guide on how to do well on the exam. It is a review and a coaching series, at the same time. So basically, aspiring certified coders are not only getting the basic topics for review, but also tips and advice on how to ace the test. It also comes with advice and strategies on how to manage questions which might be more difficult than the others.
It covers the various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as demonstrates the most efficient way to take the exam. It includes a segment that trains you to maximize the time allotted for the exam. Originally, this course was available only as a DVD set. The latest version, however, contains updated content, and can be accessed online in addition to the DVD set. You don't need to wait for the DVD set to be shipped to you to get started. You can access it online as streaming media and in downloadable movie file formats, which can be viewed using Flash and Quicktime players. Laureen Jandroep explains, "I teach two-day and three-day review classes that I call a "Blitz" because it is a very intense jam-packed review for those preparing for one of the physician-based board exams".
The latest "Blitz" is recorded on a 7-set DVD known as Coding Certification Review Blitz, and can be downloaded and accessed online at http://www.codingcertification.org/medical-coding-certification-review-videos-2.html. You may visit the website for more details to aid you in your exam preparations.
