MISSISSAUGA, ON, CANADA, September 10, 2010 (Press-News.org) As the popularity of gift cards continues to grow, and with gift card sales totaling more than $97 billion, Extreme Pita is capitalizing on this expanding market.
The Canadian franchisor recently announced the launch of its reloadable gift cards. Available immediately, the gift cards are designed to ease the process for guests to make purchases online or in stores across North America.
âEURœNot only is our brand known for fresh and healthy options, but also for the convenience we provide to our guests,âEUR said Alex Rechichi, CEO and Co-Founder of Extreme Pita. âEURœWith the launch of our reloadable gift card, weâEUR ve eliminated the use of pin numbers or signing receipts and made purchases one quick swipe away.âEUR
The gift cards can be purchased at all of Extreme PitaâEUR s Canadian & US locations, as well as online. Guests are encouraged to purchase online in order to register their cards and take advantage of specific card benefits, including protection against loss or theft and the ability to view up-to-date card balances online. Cards must initially be loaded with an amount between $10 and $250, but can also be reloaded between $10 and $250.
To manage the launch of the reloadable gift cards, Extreme Pita has partnered with well respected and global card provider Givex. Founded in 1999, Givex provides gift, loyalty and other closed loop technologies. The launch is also supported by Extreme PitaâEUR s current debit and credit card suppliers Moneris Solutions and J.P. Morgan Chase.
âEURœWeâEUR re excited to partner with Givex, as its global reputation and proven track record will help provide the best possible service to our loyal guests and give our brand a competitive edge,âEUR said Mark Cunningham Executive Vice President Business Development.
âEURœExtreme Pita understands its guests well,âEUR says Amanda French, Vice President Sales & Marketing for Givex. âEURœThe new reloadable card and gift card website complement Extreme Pita strengths by providing their guests with more convenience and excellent service.âEUR
Unlike traditional fast food restaurants and sub shops, Extreme Pita does not offer foot-long loaves of bread with just the typical options for filling. Instead, they offer a 2,000-year-old traditional bread staple âEUR" the pita âEUR" and feature a âEURœno rulesâEUR menu that customizes every rolled pita to suit the individual tastes of its health conscious customers. Only offering non-processed cheeses, meats, vegetables and sauces, all pitas are served fresh or sautà ed in water, not oil, right in front of the customer.
