Body-jet Liposuction Procedure Promises a Quicker Recovery for the Approaching Summer

A new liposuction procedure promises a quicker recovery for the upcoming swimsuit season.

2011-04-10
ORLANDO, FL, April 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) There's no need to remind that summer is quickly approaching and so are the trips to the department stores for the dreaded bathing suit. Many women and men are opting to have liposuction procedures done so that they can bare it all with confidence this season.

A new liposuction procedure called Body-jet Liposuction is different from the traditional techniques in that the plastic surgeon uses a gently pulsed water-spray containing local anesthesia while it simultaneously dislodges and gently removes the fat. Unlike traditional tumescent liposuction where the local anesthesia is injected first, and then the fat sucked out with conventional suction, this technology performs the procedure in a single step.

Body-jet allows the liposculpting procedure to be performed under local anesthesia or with added sedation. As the Body-jet technique uses the gentle action of water to dislodge the fat, the procedure minimizes the bruising, swelling and discomfort following the procedure.

Dr. Hartog of Bougainvillea Clinique is very excited to offer this new procedure to his patients. "It's very important that we provide procedures that minimize patient discomfort and recovery time. After all, they're getting the procedure done to feel more confident. And the ability to go back to normal business shortly after the procedure is essential."

An added advantage of Body-jet is the ability to harvest fat very gently for fat grafting procedures such as breast augmentation with fat, facial rejuvenation and rejuvenation of the aging hand.

Body-jet liposuction is a relatively new procedure here in the United States, but had profound success in Europe. Relatively few surgeons are skilled and trained in this technique and Dr. Hartog of the Bougainvillea Clinique is one of them. His practice serves Winter Park, Orlando and other central Florida areas. He is very excited to be able to get his patients the results they want with the new Body-jet liposuction procedure.

The CSI Effect and What Happens When CSI Goes Awry

The CSI Effect Television programs featuring forensic science often impart the false notion that evidence from crime scenes can be found, analyzed and unmistakably ...

A New Standard for Expert Testimony in Wisconsin

2011-04-10
Expert testimony can be an integral element of a legal case. Almost any type of case may involve an expert: criminal, civil, family and tort law claims all commonly rely on evidence provided by an experienced professional. But how is it determined whether or not a potential expert witness is going to provide reliable information? Up until very recently, Wisconsin judges only had to evaluate the relevancy of an expert's opinion before allowing the jury to hear it. But, in a 2011 Special Legislative Session, Wisconsin lawmakers adopted new rules governing expert witness ...
