Name Translation Service (Nameans) Announces Website Launch: A Service Using Native Speakers to Search for Name Meanings in Other Languages
2011-04-16
NAGAHAMA, JAPAN, April 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Nameans may be the world's first name translation specialist service. This service checks out all the meanings of names in foreign languages, whether it be a baby name, a product name, or even a company name.

When an applicant wants to know the meanings of a word in other languages and submits a name, native speakers registered with Nameans in every language search for words with the same or similar pronunciations. Their responses are compiled by Nameans staff and sent to the applicant in PDF format.

Examples of How Nameans is Used

Nameans is mainly use for naming babies, products, and companies.

For example, the name Kate has a similar pronunciation to a word that means knitting wool in Japanese.
The name Moco has the meaning of slime, or mucus in Spanish.

Use Nameans when naming so you do not end up with a name that has an unexpected meaning in other countries.

Open Up Your Conveyor for Quicker Belt Changes with Dorner's Cantilever Stand Mounts

Open Up Your Conveyor for Quicker Belt Changes with Dorners Cantilever Stand Mounts
2011-04-16
Conveyors are designed to fit into extremely tight spaces. But cantilever stand mounts from Dorner Manufacturing can help open them up. Cantilever stands support the conveyor from only one side, which opens the other side up for easy access and quick belt changes. This feature is ideal when conveyors are placed it tight locations or for applications that require a higher number than normal belt changes. Standard conveyor stands often have to be removed to facilitate a belt change; cantilever stands allow the belt to slide right off without removing stands, and by only ...
