Triangle East Magazine Home & Garden Show to Feature Local Experts

Portion of Proceeds from April 30 Event to Benefit Local Charity

CLAYTON, NC, April 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) Triangle East Magazine's first Home & Garden Show - taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 30 at The Clayton Center - will feature a series of how-to presentations from local experts, as well as the best in home and garden products from various vendors. The Clayton Center is located at 111 E. 2nd Street in Clayton.

Tickets are just $5 and are available in advance or at the door for this unique event that will showcase design, construction, garden and landscaping companies sharing their products and services with attendees. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Grow And Share, a Zebulon nonprofit working to eliminate hunger across North Carolina via plant giveaways and community gardens.

Included with the price of admission, attendees will be able to hear presentations on a variety of home-related topics from noted experts:

- Five Designer Tips for Transforming a Room on a Budget - Laurel Lane of Laurel-Lane Interiors

- Planning Your Yard Project - Tracie Hicks of Hicks Landscaping

- The Building Process, A to Z - Art Kirkwood of Kirkwood Builders

- Beginning Gardening - by Kay Whatley of Grow & Share
