Matthew Taylor Shares His Music Soul With An Inspirational Album

Matthew is pouring out heart, soul, and music through his inspirational album Audio Journal.

2011-05-16
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, May 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Matthew Taylor has been in the service of himself and God, and he uses his gift of music to better himself and the rest of the world. For Matthew, music is not just about making songs, singing and performing them - it's also the message that you share to others. If he sticks to this, he's doing something noble and creative both at the same time.

It all began when Matthew was a wee baby. Like Schroeder from the comic strip 'Peanuts', he received his first toy grand piano at three. When he was four, he had his first toy guitar and amp as birthday presents, and from there, he started rocking to Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, and KISS. Matthew's parents were supportive but it was his Grandma J who took his love for music to the next level. He was allowed to play her Hammond organ, banging on the keys and destroying a few along the way.

Matthew's sound transitioned from noise to full-fledged music when he studied under husband and wife pianists, David and Beverly Lewis. And then he joined the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale where his singing flourished. His music had to take a backseat, however, in high school and college as he furthered his studies.

It was only until he was 27 years old that Matthew realized that he should live the dream that he's had since he was three. After winning a competition in 2010, he was sent to San Francisco to audition for 'American Idol'; unfortunately, he was told his voice was not 'poppy enough' for the show. The rejection hurt but Matthew was not to be bogged down by this - he moved on and continued to develop becoming a better artist. For someone who writes what he feels, it's essential that he can connect with his listeners. His music is full of love, pain, hope, change - what every human being experiences on a daily basis and all rendered in classical piano. Heartfelt and at times, heartbreaking, such is Matthew Taylor's music.

Matthew is now sharing his album 'Audio Journal' with 10 tracks showcasing his musical soul. Have a listen to Matthew Taylor's album at iTunes distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group.)

Americans Want Honest Analysis of Grocery Store Food Labels

2011-05-16
Do you trust the people who make your food? America's major conglomerates want to produce more product and spend less money, and that's bad news for what's on your fork. Even worse, food corporations are not held accountable for the content on their nutrition labels. They add some vitamins and call it "enriched" or they report it's a "good source of fiber" even when your body cannot dissolve the amount added. Ultimately, most of what we buy in supermarkets is all the same—artificial. That's where Honest Label Foods comes in. Today's food choices could ...

Pan American Metals of Miami: Precious Metals Rally Following Last Week's Slide

2011-05-16
Thanks in part to buying from bargain hunters, gold and silver both showed significant recovery as markets re-opened Monday, with gold breaking back through the $1500 barrier. Silver prices rose by almost $2 an ounce after some significant losses last week. Analysts agree that long-term investment in gold will see continued profits as gold prices are slated to rise to $1690 this year. While some of Monday's gains in gold may be due to buying on the part of bargain hunters, the metal is further supported by a rally in the price of crude oil, renewed inflation fears, strong ...
