OCEANSIDE, CA, July 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) The doctors at Dermatology Specialists, Inc. (www.dermspec.com) recently announced their summer specials, including savings on a variety of treatments and products, such as laser hair removal for their Temecula, San Diego, and Riverside area patients. One of the largest dermatology centers in San Diego and Riverside Counties, the Dermatology Specialists practice offers a diversity of training and experience, with 7 dermatologists on staff.
Dr. David Wolf, who specializes in cosmetic dermatology, noted that in addition to clinical procedures, the practice features other treatments, from BOTOX Cosmetic to laser treatments. Their specials are designed to bring attention to those other appearance-enhancing options, as well as to show their appreciation for referrals.
"We love it when our patients refer friends and family members, as they frequently do," says Dr. Wolf. To 'thank them,' our specials include a laser referral program. By referring a friend or family member for a laser treatment at our practice, our patients can receive ten percent off their next laser treatment or laser package purchased from us within 6 months."
Summer is a popular time for cosmetic procedures to enhance your appearance, whether it's a facial rejuvenation option such as dermal fillers or a vein treatment to remove unsightly and troublesome veins. "This is the time of year when more new patients are contacting us, saying they want to look their best at events such as beach parties, weddings, and reunions," comments Dr. Joseph Samady, a dermatologist serving Encinitas, San Diego, and other southern California regions. "We help them achieve that goal while educating them on how to protect their skin during these summer months. Individualized care is central to our practice."
Dermatology Specialists, Inc. (www.dermspec.com) is one of the largest dermatology practices in San Diego and Riverside Counties, with offices in Murrieta, Escondido, Fallbrook, Solana Beach and Oceanside. Herschel finds source of cosmic dust in a stellar explosion
2011-07-08
ESA's Herschel Space Observatory is helping unravel the mystery of where cosmic dust comes from. Thanks to the resolution and sensitivity of Herschel, astronomers have been able to detect cosmic dust from a supernovae, adding weight to the theory that these cosmic fireworks are responsible for its creation.
The origin of the dust is important because it plays a crucial role in the formation of stars, particularly billions of years ago when star formation was at its peak. Galaxies like our own Milky Way are not simply collections of stars, but also contain clouds of ...
