Global Policy Forum 'The Modern State in the Age of Social Diversity' under the auspices of President of the Russian Federation Mr. Dmitry A. Medvedev will be held in Yaroslavl on September, 7-8, 2011.

To pass the registration, please, visit Global Policy Forum official website http://en.gpf-yaroslavl.ru (Section 'Press Center', subsection "Media accreditation"). This subsection contains the electronic form of accreditation, the rules of filling out the form, contact information.The accreditation application is sent from ALL members of the drafting group, including photographers, cameramen and technical staff.
Accreditation applications from persons who are not employees of Mass Media, as well as from representatives of the advertising editions, catalogs, and online media non specializing on economic and political news will not be considered.
Accreditation applications submitted after 11.08.2011 and the ones containing incorrect information will not be considered.
The list of media representatives accredited for Global Policy Forum as well as the order for Mass Media will be published on the website of Global Policy Forum on September 1, 2011 (11 a.m. Moscow time).

Global Policy Forum 'The Modern State in the Age of Social Diversity' under the auspices of President of the Russian Federation Mr. Dmitry A. Medvedev will be held in Yaroslavl on September, 7-8, 2011.
Global Policy Forum in 2009 and 2010 were attended by President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of Spain Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, Prime Minister of France Franois Fillon, President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak, Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi, Special Prime Minister of Japan Yukio Hatoyama, prominent statesmen and public figures, businessmen, scientists and experts, journalists from more than forty countries of the world.
Each year the organizers announce a new topic of the Forum, which is the most pressing for discussion, the leading pundits say, and includes the issues of state development, securing of stable world order and harmonic modern world.
This year the key discussion points of the Forum will be the combination of efficient economy and the principles of social justice; innovation and civilization peculiarities; immigrants' identity and their integration within the framework of the united state; human rights and global security. The panelists will try in Yaroslavl to dwell on these and other issues and to jointly outline the ways of solving them.
Participation in the Forum was confirmed by Beji Caid el Sebsi - Prime Minister of Tunisia, Aleksander Kwaniewski - President of Poland (1995-2005), Wolfgang Schssel - Federal Chancellor of Austria (2000-2007), Jean Chrtien - Prime Minister of Canada (1993-2003), Mahathir bin Mohamad - Prime Minister of Malaysia (1981-2003) and other acknowledged state figures, politicians, representatives of business community and general public.
This year Global Policy Forum will work in three sections. Section 'Democratic institutions in multiethnic societies' is devoted to analyzing the experience of designing and building democratic institutions in multiethnic societies of the modern world. Russia's experience in building democracy is to be discussed in the context of other plural societies, including, among others, India, the United States of America, Brazil, and the European Union. One of the topics to be discussed at the section is the efficiency of democratic institutions and practices against challenges of illegal migration, ethnic apartness, separatism, and fundamentalism.
The participants of the section 'The rich and the poor: where is justice?' will make an attempt to elaborate practical recommendations for modern states, including strategies of economic development, conflicts and crises management - all these are processes directly influencing the formation of national and global political and economic cultures. The goals of the discussion are identification and improvement of key mechanisms for reducing inequalities both inside countries and on the global scale.
Section 'Global Security and the local conflicts' is devoted to analyzing the impact of existing and potential local conflicts to global and regional security. The participants of the section will analyze the possibility of using peacekeeping forces of countries and international organizations to neutralize conflicts and formule the agreement on common conflict resolution principles taking into account the peculiarities of every conflict.
International press-center will be operating during the work of Global Policy Forum in Yaroslavl.
