LONDON, ENGLAND, November 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) A brand new website for comparing vouchers in the UK market developed by Flat Rock Technology is already live at http://www.vouchercomparison.com. Voucher Comparison is the new project of the owners of the Vendari Limited.
Voucher Comparison is different from all the other such websites on the online market because it is completely innovative and pioneers in a field that is yet to be explored. Voucher Comparison provides deal, cashback and voucher comparisons as well as daily comparisons.
Voucher Comparison's main goal is to become one stop shop for end users who look for the best deals available on the online voucher market. This is possible because the website extracts and organizes information about vouchers and deals from a great number of voucher, cashback and Daily Deal sites and offers them in one place in the most convenient way to the consumers. The option to compare vouchers allows the users to choose the voucher that will best suit their needs and budget.
"VoucherComparison.com is a rarity for the simple fact it is an innovation in the online space, something that is extremely hard to achieve today. Voucher Comparison hasn't been done before or even conceived by anyone..." said Dominic Yacoubian, Vendari Managing Director.
Voucher Comparison can provide such a comprehensive service to the end users due to its vast database and the constant updating of vouchers. The databases Voucher Comparison uses account to about 40 at the moment and will increase in the future. That effectively turns this website in the only place among the other websites of this kind, which offers so much information at one place ready to be compared.
Flat Rock Technology took the opportunity to develop this complex system when approached with the idea from Vendari Limited. The process of mutual interaction and exchange of ideas led to the successful launch of Voucher Comparison, which is expected to grow to be one of the most visited places for voucher seekers.
The main feature that distinguishes Voucher Comparison from the rest of the similar websites is the options for quick and easy assessment between vouchers of different absolute value. When more than one voucher answering the search criteria is found, the system compares the vouchers for one product (retailer) or different offers for the same product (retailer). Depending on the criteria entered by the user, a special calculator provides the best voucher for that particular case.
Currently, Flat Rock Technology is developing a new interface protocol that is aimed to ease the exchange of information between Voucher Comparison and its partner websites. The protocol has already been implemented between number of existing voucher websites and Voucher Comparison and is expected to be available to all other partners soon.
Flat Rock Technology intends to keep innovating and developing exciting and unique projects for everyone with ideas and creativity. Flat Rock Technology is always open to work on challenging projects and prove that its competencies turn into interesting and efficient solutions serving the market needs.

Organisms living on small islands are particularly threatened by extinction. However, data are often lacking to objectively assess these threats. A team of German and British researchers used satellite imagery to assess the conservation status of endangered reptiles and amphibians of the Comoro archipelago in the Western Indian Ocean. The researchers used their results to point out which species are most threatened and to define priorities for future protected areas. The study was published in the open access journal ZooKeys.
A typical problem in species conservation ...

Introducing L-PEACH: Tool for understanding peach tree development
2011-11-21
DAVIS, CA -- In peach trees, as in other plants, the energy used to create carbohydrates that support growth and development comes from solar radiation through the process of photosynthesis. Peach tree productivity is therefore dependent on the tree's photosynthetic efficiency and effectiveness in distributing and using carbohydrates. A basic knowledge of carbon assimilation and partitioning concepts at the whole-tree level can aid growers in understanding how peach trees grow and help them adopt cultural practices that maximize production.

The buzz around beer
2011-11-21
RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Ever wondered why flies are attracted to beer? Entomologists at the University of California, Riverside have, and offer an explanation. They report that flies sense glycerol, a sweet-tasting compound that yeasts make during fermentation.
"Insects use their taste system to glean important information about the quality and nutritive value of food sources," said Anupama Dahanukar, an assistant professor of entomology, whose lab conducted the research. "Sugars signal high nutritive value to flies, but little is known about which chemical cues flies use ...
