SHALLOTTE, NC, April 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) Pennsylvania author Rene Daniel's fantasy adventure novel, 'Spear of Seth', is written in the spirit of 'Indiana Jones' and 'House of Anubis'. The novel takes modern day archaeologists into the Egyptian Underworld. 'Spear Of Seth' is a blend of fantasy, legend and adventure. Daniel has termed this new genre 'Falenture'. His next novel, 'Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla', follows the same popular format.
"Storylines such as those found in the 'Indiana Jones' series and 'House Of Anubis'," said Mr. Daniels, "never seem to go out of favor with the book buying public. These type of stories all the reader to live vicariously and to lose themselves in the story. I believe the blend of fantasy, legend and adventure, something I've termed 'Falenture', is responsible for the increased popularity and readership of 'Spear Of Seth'."
Alex Khyan, the protagonist of 'Spear of Seth', is a premed student of the Van Senmut College, who gets a summer job as a translator at an archeological dig at the island of Elephantine in the Upper Egypt. Here he meets Heather Van Senmut and her father, John Van Senmut, a grandson of the founder of the college and the archeologist in charge of the excavations. The dig is not just some dig; it is the ruins of the Temple of Osiris, which stands at the mythical place where Nile emerges from the Egyptian Underworld. When John Van Senmut, falls ill and physicians give up on him, his daughter decides to search the Temple for the cause of the disease and possibly a cure. Her quest leads her, and her unwilling helper Alex, into the Netherworld, which survived the Egyptian civilization by two thousand years. They negotiate its dangers, as well as dangers that come from their contemporaries. They do have only one guide - the Book of Gates, which decorates the sarcophagus of the pharaoh Seti.
"In 'Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla'," continued Mr. Daniel, "I hope to be able to build upon the success of 'Spear Of Seth' and to continue to offer readers another novel that combines fantasy, legend and adventure".
Mr. Daniel is offering a no-charge electronic copy of "Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla' to anyone who writes a review for 'Spear Of Seth' on Amazon or on their own blog.
Rene Daniel is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at rene_daniel@verizon.net. More information on the author, the novel and the review offer is available at his website. 'Spear of Seth' is available at his website, Amazon and most online book retailers.
In his other life, Rene Daniel is a physician and a researcher in the fields of gene therapy, HIV and aging. Writing is his great love. He refers to his genre as FALENTURE - a mix of fantasy, legends and adventure.
Unlike a classical fantasy, FALENTURE builds on and sticks close to epic legends of human history, and asks a question: what if they are/were real? Is there really an Egypt Underworld? Was there really a Lost City of Z? What if the mysterious late inventions of Nikola Tesla worked? A FALENTURE could be compared to a combination of Lord Of Rings, The DaVinci Code and Indiana Jones.

Parents Should Be on Their Best Behavior During a Divorce or Separation
A recent study confirms what many have suspected: Poor behavior by divorcing parents causes more problems for their children than the divorce itself. Research shows that all children experience some negative effects as their parents separate or divorce but, if a split is particularly traumatic or vicious, the children may suffer the ill effects into adulthood and some never quite recover.
If you are facing a separation or divorce from your spouse or domestic partner, the two of you have the power ...

It's All About Taxes: Variety Is the Reason to Establish an LLC
When first introduced as a business entity, Limited Liability Corporations were widely hailed as a great way to shield owners from personal liability for their business obligations. This "corporate veil," as it is known in legal circles, ensures that an owner can operate a business while protecting his or her personal assets from most types of lawsuits and business debts.
Well and good, most business owners and entrepreneurs agree. But for many what it really comes down to is taxes.

How Bankruptcy Affects Car Loans

How Bankruptcy Affects Car Loans
Many people considering bankruptcy have questions about how the process will affect their vehicle loans. Unlike credit card debt, medical bills and other forms of unsecured debt, which are often dischargeable in bankruptcy, car loans are usually secured debts. This means that the vehicle itself is used as collateral in the loan agreement, allowing the lender to repossess the vehicle in lieu of payment if the buyer fails to pay off the debt.
Secured loans are generally more difficult to discharge through bankruptcy than unsecured debt. ...
