Announce It! is a Michigan based e-commerce store that began in 1996. It is owned by Lori Shirley, a former graphic designer. Despite having a limited income and a newborn baby boy, she used her computer and graphic designing skills to start earning a living by designing and producing custom candy bar wrappers and other personalized items.
She started by creating birth announcements, which she wrapped around snack-sized Kit Kat Bars and sold at a minimal price. This turned into a full-time home based business named Announce It! In 1999, it made its online debut.
Today, Lori's business has expanded to create customized party favors for all occasions: weddings, graduations, baby showers, birthdays, etc. It stays ahead of its competition by being the only provider of free customization with purchased personalized products. In addition, Announce It! has successfully grown to serve international customers.

Quantum technologies promise to redefine the landscape of information processing and communication.
