GERMANTOWN, MD, May 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Trumpet Marketing, a Maryland-based graphic design and Internet marketing company has launched a new initiative to assist local small businesses with developing new business through Internet mediums including websites, blogs and social media.
On Monday, President, Barack Obama proclaimed this week as National Small Business Week. He has called upon all us to recognize the contributions of small businesses citing the importance of small businesses to the competitiveness of the American economy. "We couldn't agree more!" says Jim Williams, president of Trumpet Marketing. "The cornerstone of America and its economy is the success of small businesses. There is so much opportunity for small companies and entrepreneurs to develop new business and build name recognition through the use of Internet mediums. Our goal is to work with local businesses to identify these opportunities and place campaigns in place to take advantage of them. In conjunction with the small business initiative, Trumpet Marketing has launched a website redesign, complete with an Internet marketing blog at www.TrumpetMarketing.net. The Internet marketing blog and Trumpet Marketing Facebook page will provide small business followers with useful information and tips relating to web marketing.
Trumpet Marketing is also sponsoring the upcoming second annual Matsunaga Milk Run and Health Fair, a local elementary school event created in response to the "Let's Move!" initiative, which was launched in 2010 to get children moving and on the path toward healthier lifestyles. This event is hosted by the Matsunaga Elementary Parent and Teacher Association (PTA). Matsunaga Elementary is the largest elementary school in Montgomery County, MD. With about 600 runners, this event has doubled in size from the previous year. "Trumpet Marketing is pleased to sponsor this year's Matsunaga Milk Run and Health Fair.
