ILG Energy Endorses Further Exploration in Solar Power

As many Americans, as well as many fuel companies, focus on the future of oil and natural gas, a company called ILG Energy is calling for further exploration in the field of solar power.

2012-05-24
NEW YORK, NY, May 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) Energy production is always a hot topic in America, but there has seldom been such an influx of fuel-related news as there has been recently. Americans, growing weary of rising costs at the gasoline pump, are beginning to hear that increased oil production could get those fuel costs back down by the end of the summer. Meanwhile, natural gas supplies remain high, where prices are at historic lows. But while these two energy sources occupy much of the discussion about America's fuel industry, a company called ILG Energy is calling for more research to be done in the realm of solar energy.

ILG Energy's endorsement of solar power comes on the heels of compelling new research, which suggests that solar power may not be as much of a longshot as once thought. The research specifically focuses on the use of solar panels, affixed to a roof, to provide power for an entire house. Where once this was far too expensive for middle-class families to afford, the report says that the cost has been slashed by roughly two thirds--making solar energy more cost-effective than ever before, and a more likely reality for the average American family.

According to ILG Energy, this research points to a future where solar energy is more than just wishful thinking. "For a long time, most of us have assumed that solar power was never going to be practical or useful on a large-scale, that perhaps it was just an environmentalist pipe dream," says ILG Energy's Joel Gremillion, in a new statement to the press. "What these numbers show is that solar energy is not at all unrealistic, and that with time, it would become an even more practical possibility.

This, Gremillion says, is why further research is needed. "If solar power were more affordable, it could be a huge boon to all of us," he comments. "It could ultimately solve a lot of our energy worries."

The new report on solar energy confirms ILG's position that it could, indeed, become a more sustainable energy source. The report also provides steps for how solar energy can be further developed. Among these recommended steps is a call for the innovation of a new consumer financing model, spreading the cost of solar technology over a longer span of time.

ILG Energy, meanwhile, is a land company that specializes in delivering services to oil and gas companies. The company has also done much work with the alternative energy industry, however, and remains vocal in its support of "green" energy initiatives.

Divorce laws can vary greatly from one state to the next, but one thing that has long remained consistent is the fact that, in most divorce cases, conventional gender roles are strongly upheld, particularly when children are in the picture. A recent report finds that this might be changing, however. According to a new study, reported by Reuters, more women are paying child support and alimony to their ex-husbands than ever before. ...
