COLUMBUS, OH, June 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, located in Ohio's popular Hocking Hills region now offers dog-friendly lodging, setting aside specific rooms for guests who wish to travel with their pets. The inn has also created a pair of pet packages, designed specifically for dogs and their owners, which can be added on to any inn stay. The Pampered Dog Package and Paw Prints Pampering are fun ways for travelers and their four-legged companions to make their stay more special. In addition to the packages and new "pets welcome" lodging, the region features hundreds of miles of stunning hiking trails that are 100% dog friendly. Reservations and additional information are available online at www.innatcedarfalls.com or (800) 653-2557 (1-800-65-FALLS).

The Pampered Dog Package, priced at $115, treats the inn guest and their pooch to photographs of their time together at Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, using the gorgeous Hocking Hills scenery as a picture-perfect backdrop. A private professional photographer will capture their visit, place the photos into an album and provide a CD to guests to take home. When guests and their dogs arrive at their cottage or cabin, a doggie gift bag is waiting for them, filled with treats, a tennis ball, pickup bags, paw wipes and recyclable food and water bowl. For just $14.999, the Paw Print Pamper features a take-home drawstring paw print bag stuffed with the above goodies, plus a big "Woof" bone treat.

"So many of our guests want to share the beautiful Hocking Hills outdoors experience with their pet," said Innkeeper Ellen Grinsfelder. "And for most dog owners, leaving the dog at home adds worry and expense. We're totally focused on helping our guests relax and fully enjoy their time at the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, and that means welcoming the whole family, even the four-legged members," added Grinsfelder.

The inn staff will also help guests find the best hiking trails, including nearby Cedar Falls, Old Man's Cave, Rose Lake and Rock House hiking areas. All of these stunning spots are dog friendly, provided pets are on a leash and stay on trails. In addition, the Hocking Hills State Park asks visitors to pick up after their pets.

A Hocking Hills Tourism Association Certified Green destination, the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls is located 1/2 mile above Hocking Hills' scenic Cedar Falls. The region offers a variety of recreational opportunities including hiking, bird watching, canoeing and fishing, as well as exquisite photo opportunities. The Inn's pampering spa offers a full compliment of spa services, including couples massage, girlfriend getaways, bridal parties and group events. Fine American cuisine is the specialty at the Inn's dining room and meals are prepared with the finest organic herbs, produce and ingredients. The Gathering Place at the Inn at Cedar Falls caters to weddings, family reunions, business retreats and organizational brainstorming sessions of up to 50 guests. Reservations and complete information on the Inn, Spa and Gathering Place are available at www.innatcedarfalls.com or 1-800-653-2557 (1-800-65-FALLS).
