SCOTTSDALE, AZ, July 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) When a person walks in a doctor's office with a lump in their breast, one of the first things they usually ask is "How do I get rid of this?"
The real question they should be asking is, "How do I stop making this?" If a person stopped making cancer cells, they could continue living a long and normal life. The problem is not the lump, but rather the continuation of cancer cell production in the body. The real issue is what happens after the lump is discovered and what comes next for the patient.
Dr. Lodi, a practicing M.D. of over 22 years, has developed a new approach to cancer treatment. Rather than asking how to get rid of the cancer, he asks how does one convince the body to stop making cancer?
Waging war against cancer is a difficult feat that simply treats the symptoms. What is really necessary, is to change the conditions so the body stops creating cancer cells. While modern medicine focuses on eliminating the problem Dr. Lodi's approach looks at the root of the cancer cell creation.
Common sense says that one should stay away from environmental influences that are cancer-causing agents such as radiation exposure, harmful chemicals like DDT and cigarettes. This is because these agents' attack and damage cells in the body, and eventually, these cells are no longer able to function.
With this in mind, it is curious that radiation is used as a treatment to undo cancer. Strangely enough, it doesn't. In fact, one of the effects of radiation is cancer. For this reason, the radiation oncologist stands behind two walls of lead during treatment.
The same goes for chemicals. One of the effects of chemotherapy is cancer such as leukemia. When the body is exposed to the chemotherapy, the surrounding bodily tissues are now subject to a known cancer-causing agent. Depending on the location of the treatment, the radiation can penetrate right into the lungs, abdomen and other parts of the body.
Certainly fighting fire with fire doesn't make logical sense.
One of the key components of Dr. Lodi's approach is to give patients the understanding that cancer is a friend and a divine signal, or tap on the shoulder, that one needs to change their life and lifestyle. What one should focus on is giving the body what it really needs so that it won't make more cancer.
For more information on How to Stop Making Cancer please visit Dr. Lodi's website: http://www.StopMakingCancer.com The educational home care program for How to Stop Making Cancer will be available this late Fall 2012.
