BOLOGNA, ITALY, July 27, 2012 (Press-News.org) XTEL, the leading European provider of sales automation solutions to the consumer goods industry, today announced that PepsiCo, the world's second largest food and beverage company, enlisted XTEL to provide mobile applications to its sales teams in France and in the UK. By the middle of 2013, the XTEL sales force automation solution will be rolled out to field representatives in both countries.

According to Jeremy Bartlett, Commercial Director - PepsiCo International, the main goal of the software implementation is to improve field sales performance in the articulated and data-rich market environments of France and UK.
The XTEL sales force application will enable sales representatives to effectively deal with both the modern and the traditional trade and to develop a gamut of sales activities: from order entry, to merchandising activities, from new product launches to promotion execution and store audits. Furthermore, real-time access to KPI's together with insightful reports and an optimized information flow will support decision making both by the sales force and the management teams.
