Aussie Officially Has Most Qualified Brokers in the Industry

Australia's largest retail mortgage broker, Aussie officially has the most highly qualified team of any large mortgage brokerage in the country.

2012-07-28
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, July 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) Australia's largest retail mortgage broker, Aussie officially has the most highly qualified team of any large mortgage brokerage in the country.

Aussie is recognised by brokers and customers alike for its high level of training and service standards having last month been awarded Best Career Development in the Banking & Finance Awards. All of its brokers have, or are in the final stages, of a Diploma of Financial Services (Mortgage Management), which is an externally credited and nationally recognised qualification, with the entire Aussie Sales leadership team now also holding this Diploma.

"No other major brokerage has achieved this level of qualification," says Executive Director James Symond. "Ensuring all of our brokers are diploma qualified underpins our commitment to provide the best possible service to our customers."

"By linking the significant learnings from the Diploma with our proven Academy Program which includes mentoring, on-the-job coaching, training and skill development, we are ensuring we are leading the market providing a quality service offering. It gives customers peace of mind with the knowledge their broker has the highest level of expertise to help them with their property purchase. We want all customers to ask their broker if they are qualified to offer advice, and to check they are a member of an industry body with consumer advocacy at its heart like the MFAA, as is the case with Aussie," he concludes.

Aussie Broker Whitlam Malkoun says: "Completing the Diploma taught me that growing my business revolves around the customer and not the transaction. I was more aware of working on my business and not just in my business and it gave me a renewed confidence. I am now focused on always approaching my business in a different and more productive manner, keeping the customer at the centre of it and focusing on growth."

An Aussie broker will offer guidance, assess eligibility, lodge the application and then support the first home buyer borrower through the home loans process. Aussie brokers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in all capital cities and regional centres at the request of customers who call Aussie on 1300 44 55 66 or visit http://www.aussie.com.au.

Molecule found that inhibits recovery from stroke

2012-07-27
FINDINGS: Researchers at UCLA have identified a novel molecule in the brain that, after stroke, blocks the formation of new connections between neurons. As a result, it limits the brain's recovery. In a mouse model, the researchers showed that blocking this molecule—called ephrin-A5--induces axonal sprouting, that is, the growth of new connections between the brain's neurons, or cells, and as a result promotes functional recovery. IMPACT: If duplicated in humans, the identification of this molecule could pave the way for a more rapid recovery from stroke and may ...

Kilimanjaro has the potential to substantially increase its maize exports and take advantage of higher commodity prices with a variety of trading partners due to predicted dry and hot weather that could affect those ...

Expanded analysis of HPTN 052 study results show cost-effectiveness of early treatment of HIV

2012-07-27
When the HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN) 052 investigators released their landmark study results last year showing that treatment can reduce HIV transmission by 96% in serodiscordant couples, questions were raised about the cost of early antiretroviral therapy (ART) and if it should be universally implemented. Data presented today at the XIX International AIDS Conference in Washington, D.C. show that treatment as prevention is "very cost-effective". Using an HIV microsimulation model (CEPAC-International) to further expand analysis of HPTN 052 data, study investigators ...
