BMGI Shows You How to BYOC: Build Your Own Course

One-day workshop coming up in Columbus, Ohio on designing and developing your own problem solving training.

DENVER, CO, August 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) When you can't find off-the-shelf training that meets the needs and wants of your business, stop looking and start building! The expert instructors and curriculum developers at BMGI are hosting a one-day workshop in Columbus, Ohio, designed to guide problem solving leaders in designing and developing their internal training.

This practical, engaging and hands-on workshop will cover:
- The principles and fundamentals of adult learning.
- How to use tools and templates to clarify business and training needs, specify target audiences, establish training objectives, identify curriculum content, and determine various delivery methods to meet your learning objectives.
- How to leverage Open Access, bmgi.org, BMGI's free public site where you can find e-learning modules, tools and templates, and numerous other resources.
- Simple approaches for assessing training, as well as evaluating the practical use of skills and knowledge back in the workplace.
- How other organizations have used BMGI's resources to design their own blended training.

Each participant will leave with an organized list of business and training needs, a training plan worksheet, a storyboard outlining their training, and a working knowledge of resources they can use to support their improvement efforts.
