Pardee Homes Inspired by 100 Homebuyers in the Inland Empire; 'Next Move' Campaign Asks Home Shoppers to Share Their Dreams
2010-10-07
SAN DIEGO, CA, October 07, 2010 (Press-News.org) The dreams of 100 new homebuyers have inspired Pardee Homes to ask 'what's your next move' in an online video contest. Pardee asked many of the 100 new homebuyers who purchased a LivingSmart Home in the Inland Empire what their life was going to be like now that they made the move to homeownership, and the surprising and clever answers inspired the 'Next Move Now' video contest.

The contest which runs through November 7, 2010 will award a grand prize of $500 and a second and third place cash card prize to contestants who submit a one minute video demonstrating what their next move in life is going to be. The concept is demonstrated in a campaign currently available for viewing on www.nextmovenow.com where many of the Pardee LivingSmart Homes homebuyers talk about what their life is going to be like now that they've made the move to homeownership

"The answers were sometimes predictable, sometimes amusing, but always inspiring," said Matt Sauls, director of marketing for Pardee Homes. "We videotaped some of the buyers talking about their new home purchase and were encouraged to create this promotion. It is all being done for fun, but we believe it will provide an additional focus on these great LivingSmart Homes.

"When we opened LivingSmart Homes in February of this year, we knew the timing was right for a community like this, one designed to save the buyer money and offer versatile, sustainable new home choices at a price point that made sense, but we were thrilled to reach 100 sales in just six months. And our buyers were thrilled to tell us what the move means to them!"

With a total eight floor plans to choose from in three distinct master-planned communities, there is certainly something for every type of homebuyer. LivingSmart Homes are now selling in Canyon Hills in Lake Elsinore, Tournament Hills in Beaumont and Sundance in Beaumont. Priced from the high $100,000s, the LivingSmart Homes are brimming with a wealth of energy-saving, water-conserving, health-promoting and earth-friendly features.

All LivingSmart homes by Pardee include a number of standard energy-efficient features such as Energy Star rated dishwashers, low-E spectrally selective glass windows, fluorescent lights in select recessed cans, dimmer switches and occupancy sensors, and radiant barrier roof sheathing. Buyers can also add such earth-friendly options as roof-integrated solar electric power systems, high- efficiency air filtration systems, tankless water heaters, WaterSmart controllers for landscape, reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen, central vacuum systems, and more. Energy efficiency in a LivingSmart home exceeds California's Title 24 criteria, already the toughest in the nation.

LivingSmart Homes include a total of eight floor plans, with four model homes available for viewing in Beaumont at Tournament Hills and four models at Canyon Hills in Lake Elsinore.

"We've taken a different approach to homebuilding by offering an exciting array of choices in floor plan design, including both one- and two-story homes centered around great room living spaces," said Sauls. "LivingSmart Homes have up to seven bedrooms, two to four baths, two and three-bay garages and approximately 1,132 to 3,099 square feet. Ingenious touches such as gourmet kitchens with slab granite and stainless steel appliances are complemented by a host of room options such as media niches, extra bedrooms, fireplaces, garage workshops, master bedroom decks and a four-bay garage in select plans.

Other features include designer-selected interior light fixtures and architecturally specified recessed lighting, separate interior laundry rooms and spacious master bedroom suites with luxurious bathrooms, private dressing areas and walk-in closets. To make buying a new home even easier, Pardee offers a variety of optional features including value kitchen packages, home wiring packages, bath fixture bundles and LivingSmart packages.

"As important as finding a home in the right size and right price range is the location," said Sauls. "That's why we are offering this exciting new collection of homes in three of our most successful master planned communities in the Inland Empire."

Tournament Hills in Beaumont has a gorgeous private lake and about seven acres of park space, walking trails, picnic areas and a new elementary school. Additionally, the LivingSmart Homes' enclave adjoins the East Valley Golf Club, which features 36-holes in two masterfully designed courses.

Sundance, also located in Beaumont, has acres of parks, two neighborhood elementary schools and an abundance of nearby shopping. With great freeway access, Sundance is ideally located in proximity of regional parks and lakes such as Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead, as well as the San Jacinto Mountains.

Canyon Hills offers homeowners trails, parks, schools, convenient shopping and two residents-only recreation centers with beautiful swimming pools, not to mention its proximity to all the great recreational activities that make Lake Elsinore popular with boat enthusiasts, skydivers, wakeboarders and cyclists.
