SAN DIEGO, CA, September 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) Graphite Design, maker of some of the most widely played premium golf shafts on the PGA TOUR, announced today that the winner of the LPGA Kingsmill Championship played Graphite Design Tour AD shafts. The runner-up also played Graphite Design Tour AD shafts. This win marks the 20th professional tour victory in 2012 by players who have used Graphite Design shafts.
"The winner and the runner-up battled for nine holes to determine the champion," said Tak Yamada, President, Graphite Design. "It takes a great amount of concentration and skill to keep a play-off going for that amount of time and having equipment you can rely on is a key factor in producing consistent results. Our line of high performance Graphite Design Tour AD shafts provides golfers with a variety of shaft options to meet their individual needs and these shafts have helped 20 tour professionals win in 2012. We congratulate all of the winners who have used our shafts this year."
The winner survived a nine-hole playoff to claim her victory and post her ninth career LPGA Tour win. The playoff set a record for the longest playoff between two competitors. The winner posted a 16-under 288 to force the play-off. She played Graphite Design Tour AD DJ 5 shafts in her driver and three, five and seven-woods. The runner-up played a Tour AD DJ 6 shaft in her driver.
The Tour AD DJ shaft is designed and manufactured exclusively at Graphite Design Japan with the same Toray Company's Nanomaterial technology in the tip section of the shaft as the high performance Tour AD DI shafts. This unique tip technology creates optimal launch and spin conditions to produce increased accuracy and distance. Available in 50, 60, 70, and 80 gram weights, the Tour AD DJ features slightly higher spin characteristics than the Tour AD DI. This material technology and bend profile produce an increase in overall distance while maintaining optimal launch and spin characteristics.
Graphite Design's Tour AD logo is featured on all of the company's Tour-proven shafts to specifically promote "Accuracy and Distance" and has long been known for high quality and superior performance. This is represented by the company's success that has been documented by professionals and amateurs alike. Graphite Design is the most dominant shaft on the JGTO Tour and has been for the past nine years.
Graphite Design International manufactures the highest quality shafts in the world for Pure Distance and Perfect Accuracy. Graphite Design shafts can be seen in play by the best professional players on the PGA, Nationwide, Champions, Japan, European and LPGA tours. Graphite Design shafts reinforced its dominance on the Japan Tour, where it has claimed 163 consecutive graphite wood shaft brand counts -- an unprecedented streak which dates to 2003. On the PGA Tour, Graphite Design shafts have helped professionals earn 83 victories since 2004 and millions of dollars in prize money. Texas Supreme Court to Decide Custody Case Affecting Future Disputes
Using a mediator to resolve child custody and other matters in divorce is highly encouraged by the Texas judicial system. It reduces their dockets, lowers taxpayer costs and can even help the pocketbooks of the parties to the divorce. However, when couples do not use an attorney to protect their own interests during mediation, a soon-to-be ex-spouse may not consider certain factors and later regret a child custody agreement reached through mediation.
That exact situation resulted in a case that will ...
