Filmmaker Romane Simon Lives His Dream in Hollywood

Dawna Lee Heising Interviews Multi-Talented Writer, Director, Actor, Dancer, Choreographer, Professional Model, Former MMA Champion about Upcoming Feature Film "Then the Night Comes"

2012-10-05
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, October 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) "Eye on Entertainment," the nationally broadcast television series, has announced that the show's latest guest is Romane Simon, a multi-talented individual who is now living his dream to be part of show business.  EOE host Dawna Lee Heising, who also has a leading role as Detective Cleo in Simon's latest film "Then the Night Comes," interviews Simon about his show businesses ambitions, his Haitian upbringing and his multiple talents.

The grandson of a former president of Haiti, Simon tells Heising that though his upbringing on the island was as far from Hollywood as one could get, his ambitions always turned toward the world of Hollywood show business.  While his acting career actually began and thrived in Haiti, Simon says he knew that to realize fully his dreams he had to relocate to the City of Stars, Hollywood.  While he currently works as a director, producer, screenwriter, actor, fight choreographer, stuntman, dancer and even model, he also has been an accomplished MMA Fighter, and was MMA World Champion in 2001.

Simon honed his acting skills in an array of top Hollywood and Haitian movie hits, including "Bad Boys 2,""Salt," "Monica et les 2 Salopards," "Just Another Day," "Le Retour d'un Soldat" and numerous other productions.  Simon's current projects include two feature films -- "Vengeance" and "Tragedy of a Mother and Son" -- as well as a musical single, "Can't Live Without You." Simon's writing and directorial skills will also be much in evidence in the upcoming feature film, "Then the Night Comes," which will feature Massi Furlan, Said Faraj, Patria Darbor, WWE DIVA wrestling superstar Karlee Perez and Heising.

During the interview, Heising discovers that Simon is more than just a celebrity; he is also a caring person at heart. To the young generation, who is taking a wrong turn in their path of life, he offers this hope—"It's not too late to turn your life around. If you decide you want to leave the street and do something to make your parents proud, then contact me. I can help you. There are plenty of opportunities to turn something that was bad into something that is now good."

Simon is also eager to work with other talented professionals in the entertainment industry.  Individuals interested in working as a cast member for a Simon Productions project or those whose backgrounds include motion picture production and direction are also urged to contact him at: starsimon@gail.com
